With the approval of the Vision Plan, the City is now kicking off the environmental review process to evaluate how the proposed development could impact the environment—including traffic, air quality, noise, and other factors. To initiate this process, a public meeting known as a “scoping hearing” will be held. This hearing provides an opportunity for the public and interested agencies to comment on the Draft Scope of Work (DSOW), which outlines the framework for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), including potential environmental impacts, alternatives, and mitigation strategies.
The City will offer two hearings:
